-Small group instruction in movement

-Instrumental and vocal listening AND participation
-Storytellers who emphasize music and reading
-Spoken word, poetry recitation, choral reading and reader’s theater for performance polish (Just give us a spotlight!)
-Arts, crafts and games all connected with reading and grade-level standards
-Personalized, individual and small group instruction
-Respectful staff with high expectations and effective technique
-At least two hours of direct reading, writing and spelling instruction daily
-Introduction to age- and developmentally-appropriate text
-Opportunities to earn incentive rewards, including new books, for effort and progress
-Morning and afternoon snack provided daily AND a camp t-shirt for each session attended
